College Intro to Lit

Welcome to Intro to Lit! At least, that is what we call it. Realistically, however, this course is a survey of American Literature. The task of studying 400 years of literature in approximately 18 weeks is daunting. To alleviate this burden a bit, survey courses present more of a contextualized highlights reel. Nonetheless, even in highlight form, this will require much reading...which will require an intentional use of your time. As your instructor, I will be doing everything within my power to help you experience this literature, but it is imperative that you stay on top of the reading assignments outlined in the syllabus below and the weekly schedule found here.
