Please note, I am not a "know-all, mythology expert". Mythology is a field of subjectivity and alternatives. Therefore, the version I present should not be taken as THE only possible way of presenting this mythology.

Celtic Mythology has arguable captured the imagination of the western world more than any other cultural mythology except that of Greece and Rome. It is here that we learn of the tales of mythic monsters, great chivalric heroes, magicians, and fairy lands. Due to the vast and varied history of the Celtic people, however, it is difficult to narrow Celtic Mythology into a nice neat formula. It is especially difficult to cover it in a way that does the subject justice in such a short time period. Therefore, we will be addressing Celtic Mythology in two parts. We will briefly address the major mythical themes, and then explore three of the primary heroic journeys.
