KEY OBJECTIVES: Analyzing difficult text, Critical thinking, Creative Reflection
Term three is all about Julius Caesar... well, at least, it will seem like that. In this term we're diving into literary analysis. We'll be talking about themes, characterization, plot elements...etc. Shakespeare's historical tragedy is just our medium.
In short, here are are major assessments for this term.
1. JCA- The Julius Caesar Assessment. This one is the biggy. Each semester will have a project like this--one that defines the course. Nearly doubling your largest assessment thus far in point value, this will have a huge impact on your grade. AND, it's not all about getting the gist of Julius Caesar. You'll be addressing themes and purposes. Thus, you should begin working on this project long before we finish reading the play as a class.
2. IRA 3- See previous terms.
3. Summative 3- This summative addresses literary elements.
Have a great day. Make wise decisions.
