BAGIS-H ESRI addin (.esriaddin) - ftp://basins.geog.pdx.edu/BAGIS/BAGIS_addins/
System Requirements:
ArcGIS 10 Service Pack 2 or later with Spatial Analyst Extension. ArcGIS 10 SP2 fixed several bugs that affected BAGIS-H. Make sure you apply SP2 (or the latest service pack) before using BAGIS-H. ArcGIS 10 service packs can be downloaded from ESRI Resource Center.
Users must use BAGIS to create AOI folders. AOI created in GIS Weasel is compatible with BAGIS-H as well. To add layers to an AOI created either by Weasel or BAGIS, please use the AOI Utilities tool on the Basin Analyst menu of BAGIS. Please refer to Section 6.1.4 (page 14) of BAGIS User's Manual for more information on this function. Click here to download BAGIS.
Add-in installation notes:
First time installation. Download the BAGIS-H.esriAddin file to your computer. Make sure all instances of ArcMap are closed. Double-click the BAGIS-H.esriAddin file to open the installation dialog. Click Install Addin button to install.
ArcGIS has some issues with the add-in update procedures. Installing the new addin file might not correctly overwrite the previously installed old version. Please follow the steps below to update the BAGIS-H add-in if you suspect the add-in was not updated correctly.
Dismiss the BAGIS-H Toolbar (formerly named as HRU Analyst Toolbar) if it is open.
Uninstall the old version using the add-in manager tool from ArcMap's customize menu.
Close all instances of ArcMap. Make sure you wait long enough (60 seconds) to let ArcMap completely be removed from the system memory.
Make sure all instances of ArcMap are closed. Double-click the latest add-in file to install the new version (please don't use the add-in manger to install the new version) .
Templates.xml and Template Rule Editor:
The template rule editor tool is implemented in BAGIS-H b0.03 or later version. The tool needs to access and record information in the templates.xml file resided in a temp folder on you computer. The temporary folder is the same as where BAGIS stores its user definition file (basinanalyst.def). The templates.xml file might not be backward compatible and could cause the program to act abnormally. During beta testing period, we will notify you if you need to remove the templates.xml file when a new version of BAGIS-HD becomes available. Temporary folder on a Windows 7 computer is:
C:\Users\your_account_id\AppData\Local\Temp
on a Windows XP computer is:
C:\Documents and Settings\your_account_id\Local Settings\Temp
