In response to your email, this is to inform you that, to transfer the ownership of the number the donor (previous owner of SIM card) and the receiver (new owner) both have to be present together at the grameenphone center with valid documents. Please be informed that, currently the transfer of ownership is free of cost. To transfer the ownership you will need the below documents :
· The donor needs to submit 1 copy of passport size photo and the receiver must submit 2 copies of passport size photo and a photocopy of national ID card (NID)
· The finger prints of both the SIM donor and the receiver must match with election commission data base. Otherwise, the SIM transfer would be unsuccessful.

In response to your email, we would like to inform you that, if you wish to register the SIM under your NID, then you can transfer of ownership. Therefore, if you are staying within Dhaka City, you can easily do transfer of ownership for your existing number under Transfer of ownership in the following link (https://www.grameenphone.com/shop/sim-ownership-transfer). Please fill out the online forms with necessary information’s and receive the delivery within your hand by next two working days. Moreover, SIM ownership transfer is free of cost for both prepaid and postpaid .Please note the below mandatory information regarding the online ownership transfer:
• The donor (previous owner of SIM card) and the receiver (new owner) both have to be present together during transferring ownership.

Transferor [Old owner]
• Application with valid signature and contact number
• One copy passport size photograph of original owner
• National ID card/passport/driving license/gun license
• Biometric Verification(Fingerprint ) will be needed
• Clear photocopy of original Subscription paper (if available)
Transferee [New owner]
• Two copies of passport size photographs for postpaid number/ three copies of passport size photographs for prepaid number
• Clear photocopy of National ID card/passport/driving license/gun license
