In response to your email, we would like to inform you that, SIM replacement fee is BDT 110 for both prepaid and postpaid. Postpaid user’s SIM replacement charge will be adjusted in next bill cycle. This fee is totally free for Star users both in Grameenphone centers (GPC and GPCF) and through online orders. You will be able to replace the SIM card only if you are registered through Bio-metric process. Please bring your NID for completing the process. The SIM you'll receive will be a 3-in-1 combo SIM, so you can use either the Standard, Micro or Nano SIM.
However, if you are staying within Dhaka City, you can easily order a new 4G SIM for your existing number under SIM Replacement in the following link (https://www.grameenphone.com/shop/sim-replacement). Please fill out the online forms with necessary information’s and receive the new SIM card within your hand by next two working days.
If you need the SIM more urgently, you can replace a SIM from our Grameenphone centers.
