As a result of discussions among various fields, we finally reached an agreement on the provision of temporary childcare at the expense of NIG for staff working during the NIG open house. This was a result of the activities of the NIG Gender Equality Office.

Applicable events are the NIG open house, entrance examinations, graduate school information sessions, and NIG retreat.

This temporary childcare is provided when staff members are requested to go to work on a regular holiday or when staff members are ordered by NIG to go on a business trip that does not allow for childcare. (Type 1 temporary childcare)

Use of the temporary childcare when nursery schools and afterschool centers are closed is not covered by NIG, so it will continue to be funded by "donations". (Type 2 temporary childcare)
