Nursery schools and afterschool centers around Mishima are closed at the end of the school year, during Obon, and during other NIG work days. For this reason, many NIG staff members are put in the difficult position of having to work while leaving their children home alone, relying on relatives, or taking off work and worrying about their colleagues. Given this situation, the Diversity $ Inclusion Office has been collecting donations since 2016 to provide temporary childcare in the multipurpose nursery room. (type 2 temporary childcare) "NIG Nursery Operation Guidelines (internal viewing only)”
We are requesting donations from those who would like to support this initiative. Temporary childcare at NIG, which cannot receive public subsidies, cannot be achieved by the beneficiaries alone. Everyone’s donations are indispensable. About ¥200,000 per year is required for continuous childcare.
If you would like to donate, please fill out the donation application form and give it to the Research Promotion Team <kenkyo-mail@nig.ac.jp> of the General Affairs Division. They will tell you the donation bank account, to which please transfer your donation.
Donations of ¥2,000 or more are tax deductible. If you have any questions, please contact the NIG Gender Equality Office.
I want to create a workplace where everyone can work diligently with peace of mind
I want to protect the inherent human rights of children
I want to invest in the future of NIG
As a way of expressing these feelings, please consider donating.
All donations collected will be used by the NIG Diversity $ Inclusion Office to cover temporary childcare expenses.
