We announce the first practice of NIG temporary childcare in the multipurpose nursery room while the afterschool centers (GAKUDO) were closed for the Obon summer holiday.

There were very long negotiations with related departments in order to make this possible. The official stance of NIG is that although the use of the multipurpose nursery room for temporary childcare is greatly appreciated, no funding is available.

On the other hand, hiring a babysitter is expensive. Without any subsidies, having temporary childcare run on the beneficiary-pays principle will result in expensive childcare that no one can use.

After consulting with many people, we decided to collect donations. Thank you to everyone who donated.

We hope that by regular use in the future, everyone will gain a better understanding and the situation will change. Therefore, please do not hesitate to use this childcare support and work hard. We believe that this is the first step in creating support activities unique to NIG.
