7. Childcare Information near NIG
1. Nursery schools (HOIKUSHO) around Mishima
Finding a nursery school in Mishima City is not too difficult, but in the latter half of the year, the number of children waiting to enter school increases. If your child is unable to enter a licensed nursery school, please consult the Diversity $ Inclusion Office. We have staff who are familiar with unlicensed nursery schools and can provide information on how to use family support for the multipurpose nursery room.

2. Childcare for sick and recovering children
There are nursery schools and nursery centers in Mishima that will care for sick and recovering children. These can be used during the period of absence from school for both sudden illness and illnesses with a recovery period. These facilities are free for Mishima residents or children attending a licensed nursery school in Mishima city, and are convenient when you cannot be absent from work. Many NIG staff members with children use them.
These facilities for sick children can also be used by those living in nearby cities (Nagaizumi, Izunokuni, etc.).

3. Family support
Those with a Mishima address and children aged 0 to 6th grade who want to receive childcare support can register. There are no enrollment or annual fees, and you only pay each time you use (600 to 700 yen per hour).
The support staff can pick up and drop off your children at nursery schools, kindergartens, afterschool programs, and lessons, or look after them at home. You can also use the multipurpose room for the family support staff to take care of your children. Please consult with the Diversity $ Inclusion Office for these requests.
