Q: Are these cysts in the midline or off midline?
A: Above the hyoid, they tend to be midline, below the hyoid, they are off midline
Q: What is the surgical procedure?
A: The Sistrunk procedure, the middle piece of the hyoid is resected. (Please see diagram in Dr. Reede's article.)
