Notes: The initial/original pressing of the US CD came issued in a CD longbox, widely utilized in the US until the early 1990s. Made of cardboard measuring a little over 12" x 5.5" x 0.5". There was also a round yellow call-out sticker on the cellophane of the original packaging.
There were a handful of repressings from Geffen, all with very minor differences. Thanks to knowledgeable contributors on discogs, a few notes to be aware of when comparing matrix information:
- "First pressing...has DADC info molded in the plastic ring; later ones do not."
- "MCA took up manufacturing DGC in 1991 from Warner". Discs with MCA printed in the text on the CD itself will indicate a repressing post 1991.
- "The presence of SID codes indicates this was repressed in or after 1994." Look for a code starting with "IFPI" in the plastic ring area.
- Some of these CDs with SID codes will have a different bar code altogether on their respective rear sleeves.
