Never released as a proper single in the UK (or Europe), "Story" is probably one of the more widely recognized songs by The Sundays.  According to wiki..."although it was the Sundays' biggest hit internationally, topping the U.S. Modern Rock Tracks chart for one week, the track was never released as a single in the group's native United Kingdom due to the collapse of the Rough Trade Records label. Nonetheless it achieved no. 36 placing in John Peel's Festive Fifty for 1990."  

To my knowledge, the song was issued as a single in only two countries - the U.S. and Australia.  The U.S. (a cassingle) and Australian (cassette & 7") releases were each backed with the album version of "Skin & Bones".  Nothing new music wise but what a cool, SUNDAYS-designed sleeve.  There were also a few promo releases available globally with unique picture sleeves.
