Released September 21, 1992, "Goodbye" was The SUNDAYS' first single from the long awaited second release, "Blind", and their first release on the Parlophone label in the UK.  "Goodbye" was backed by an exclusive track, "Noise", and the Rolling Stones' cover "Wild Horses".  I actually remember the anticipation of this single.  They hadn't released anything new since January 1990 ("Reading").  This of course brought on the anticipation of the new LP (not even titled at this point), scheduled to be released about a month later.

Haven't seen too many variations of this single. There was a full assortment of UK issues but not a whole lot from a global front.  The Dutch CD has a slight tweak to the front sleeve (looks like a printing error) whereas in Australia, there was a cassingle release along with a cardboard sleeved CD.  Incidentally, the cover shot is of David's hand and his snuffbox.
