Notes from JJ (England): The support group was delayed until 9.15pm. Harriet took the stage at 10.30pm and apologised for her "flu-affected throat". After each song she said she didn't think she could carry on, but David kept convincing her to try another...the 3 songs were "Here's Where The Story Ends", "I Kicked A Boy" (she said "because it's easier" on her throat) and "I Won".

Notes from Naomi Yang of Galaxie 500 (from a 2010 Pitchfork interview): "I think one of my fondest memories of being in the band was when we were opening for the Sundays in England and Harriet [Wheeler] lost her voice and cancelled the London show at the last minute. Rough Trade scrambled to get a gig for us in London that night and came up with a pub; I think it was called The Falcon."
