Sharing

First things first, make sure you are using Google Chrome, not internet explorer or some other nonsense. This will make everything much easier

I've drawn red ovals around places you need to click/type throughout the instructions

Creating Account and Signing In

1. Log into your Gmail account. You can do this by going to google.com, then clicking Gmail in the top right

2. Now, open GeoGebra. If you downloaded the windows version, you'll have to go to your start bar. If you are using the Google Chrome app, simply open a new tab and click the "Apps" button on the top left of the page. (For help downloading GeoGebra, click here). Below is the browser app version, but the windows one wouldn't be much different.

4. Click Google

6. Accept

7. Fill in E-mail and Username, and click Create Account

8. This screen just tells you to check your Gmail inbox. Just close it. Using the X will probably work better than clicking "Done".

9. Go back to your Gmail tab. You should see a new email from "no-reply". Open it.

10. In the email is a link to activate your account. Click it.

11. It's going to ask for some information. Make sure you use your actual first and last name so I know who you are. Click Save when finished

12. Entered everything correctly, a little bubble box will say "Your account information was updated successfully."

13. Scroll down and click "Let's get started on GeoGebraTube

14. It'll take you to geogebratube.org. You should just close this tab now we'll come back later.

16. Click Google again

18. Now it should look different than the first time. Go ahead and Link to your account

19. Go back to your GeoGebra window. It should now have your name in the stop where it used to say "Sign In...". Success!

Sharing A Drawing

1. Sign in to your GeoGebra account if you haven't already.

2. Once you've finished with your drawing for the day, go to File and click Share

3. You should see your name in the top right. If you don't, you probably forgot to sign in to your account.

4. Scroll down and click Continue. You don't need to type in anything on this page.

5. Fill out the Title, Description, Language, and Tags as best as you can.

6. Click Public and click Save

7. You'll get a green background message if you were successful. If you want to see all your GeoGebra files, click "My Profile". If you are ready to share, click "Share"

8. A little menu will pop down. Click the envelope to email.

9. Fill out your name (first and last, or I won't know who you are), your Gmail, my name, and my school email. Make sure you email the recommendation to roset@chowchillahigh.org. Once you're done, click "Send E-mail".

10. You'll get a green success message if you've done everything correctly. Now I can see your work!
