Procedure

Students will work on review objectives every Friday in a computer lab. Students make progress by reading online explanations and passing online quizzes.

While students can practice quizzes at any time, only quizzes validated by Mr. Rose will count for points. For a quiz to be validated, Mr. Rose needs to know that

  • the student didn't receive any help during the quiz.

  • the student didn't use a calculator on a quiz that doesn't allow calculators.

  • the student didn't use the internet, a textbook, or any other source of extra help during the quiz.

Validated quizzes are usually done during the first half of computer lab days. Students can also take a validated quiz individually in Mr. Rose's room or outside of class if Mr. Rose is available.

Scoring guide

Students must pass 1 validated quiz (P) every week. (5 points). Students should practice during the week so that they can pass during class and not need to make it up outside of class.

Students must pass 1 unvalidated quiz (O) every week (5 points). This ensures students are ready to pass a validated quiz during class.
