Today's Assignment

  • I forwarded an email from College Board at 8am with links about how the test will work. Please review it so you aren't sitting there like a imbecile with no idea what to do on test day.

  • No Khans today

Announcements

  • Assignments

    • I don't think assigning any more mandatory CoronaCuestions will be useful at this point because you won't have a chance to do corrections before the exam. Therefore, this week we're going back to Khan Academy.

    • This means I'll be posting lesson videos like I used to. Since there are no Khans today, I'll start videos tomorrow.

      • Because there will be 2 videos per day (except today which only has 1) I'm going to keep them short. I'm really all out of jokes anyways :(

  • Corrections

    • We'll still do corrections for last week's CoronaCuestions, so two videos a day.

    • Remember, just copying my videos isn't what corrections are about. It's about showing that you're learning from your mistakes. Your corrections should include annotations about what you didn't understand, and what you now do understand. Just copying my videos won't get you any points.

  • Wanting to make up missed CoronaCuestions?

    • Obviously you can't do the original ones because there are videos with answers. You can find Make Up CoronaCuestions and directions here

  • Wanting extra exam style practice?

      • For those looking for extra exam style practice (since this week won't be nearly as cognitively demanding), these should give you plenty to practice.

      • You can just email me anything you practice and I'll let you know how you did, or come by during Math Hour, or schedule a Google Meet whenever

  • What will the questions be like on the AP test?

    • They are undoubtedly looking for a uniform distribution. This means there will probably be a mix of easy, medium, hard, epic, and legendary questions.

    • They have said they are going to put more than 45 minutes worth of questions on the AP test. If this is true...

      • Translation: DO NOT PANIC IF YOU DON'T FINISH, YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO.

    • Just do your best to calmly show as much knowledge as you can in the time provided.
