First meeting of the new academic year. Discussion of the kinds of sessions that had worked in the past, and a round of introductions -- to both people and their modelling problems -- from all those present. Based on people's areas of interest, potential topics for discussion this year include multi-agent systems, models of transport, finance, and demography; model comparison frameworks; modelling infrastructure resilience & interdependencies; integrating uncertainty into simulation models; modelling for archaeology.

Previously the best sessions have been based on people presenting a planned model and getting feedback on it. Additional suggestions for sessions include getting feedback on intermediate simulation results, how to present them, etc. Some discussion of Stuart's modelling comparison framework ideas.

Agreements to present from: Mehdi, Stuart, Gerhard, James, Johannes, Tom, Jason H., Richard, Duncan, Jason N., Eric, Jakub.
