Possible future talk from Prof. John Powell from Exeter.

Announcement for Iza Romanowska's talk on simulation in archaeology, next Wednesday 19th February, 2014, in the archaeology reading room on Avenue Campus.

Discussion of KNITR, an automatic report generation package that could help to integrate the output of simulations with R analyses. Seems similar to the use of Python notebooks to generate interactive documentation of simulation code.

Question of how to save output data and parameter lists when simulations get complicated. Agreement that most of us currently use various ugly hacks to achieve this. Possibilities for formalizing the process with version control systems.
