Day two was Bell and Wild Horse canyons, these are total must sees for anyone in this area. You follow signs to Goblin Valley State Park but then instead of turning left to the campground (at a T) turn right and continue until you see a well marked trailhead. These canyons were so amazing, they included towering walls most of the way and tons of rock scrambles, my favorite. There was also a portion where you had to take your shoes off and walk through a "puddle" for about 10 feet. Brrr, it was soooo cold. There were also places where you had to jump 5 feet down into a hole and have someone drag you up out of it on the other side. (Not kidding, this is literally part of the trail.) There were tones of places where you had to shimmy up through cracks and hop over boulders so fun.
This was a great way for us all to get to know each other a bit better. We spent four days and three nights together and hiked three slot canyons while in Utah. The scenery was amazing and was a welcome break form Colorado's winter. Crack Canyon was our first hike which is located on Behind the Reef Road near Goblin Valley State Park. There was plenty of dispersed camping along this road even with the 100 Boy Scouts that were having some sort of jamboree. Crack Canyon was really easy for the most part and isn't all that long. However, at the end of the canyon there were three crazy narrows which I would have not been able to do alone. It took team work to get down some of the obstacles. If you are skiddish, you wouldn't have been able to get down them because they require some blind faith and the ability to to do the splits as you slid down a rock hoping your foot wouldn't miss the stepping stone on the bottom.
