Adventurers: Hart, Kelly, and I
Duration and Difficulty: I'd say this was an easy hike but keep in mind it was 10-miles so I guess you would say a moderate hike. I took us about three hours. Map My Hike Link
Trailhead: The hike started just off of Independence Pass Road. It is paved the whole way and lined with dispersed camping.
Notes: We took off for a quick weekend getaway that Kelly (grandma dog) could join us on. We hike Brown's Pass which was great hike with very few people. Kelly had to be carried the last two miles but prior to that enjoyed pretending she was a puppy again.
The hike was supposed to be to really cool two-story cabin but turned out to be a hike to a really cool two-story pile of rubble.
This trip included a nights stay in our pop-up (aka Chuck). I've never seen Hart so relaxed. He took naps, laid in bed, and chillaxed in a chair most of the time. Kelly enjoyed him doing all three.
