Fig Jam

No pectin needed, Should be spreadable.
This recipe made about 12oz of jam.
Ingredients list
1lb of Figs
¾ Cup of granulated sugar (American cup measures)
¼ Cup of Water
Juice of ½ Lemon
1 tsp Vanilla extract
How to
1/ Puree figs with the ¼ cup of water
2/ Add all ingredients to saucepan and boil app 15-20 mins till shiney and jam like, use the cold plate method to see if it wrinkles, But not to stiff a mix.
3/ Bottle and keep in fridge, Has short storage life, about 2 months.
I’m hope for a larger fig crop next year.
