y BiLIttle Bits (http://littlebits.cc/) builds on what you learned from Squish Circuits and Snap Circuits to use electrical circuits to create all type of useful (and not so useful) devices. Make sure you have done the circuitry station before this one. Also, there may be more than one LittleBits kit. Make sure to keep the pieces separate.
Sample projects created with LittleBits
1. Learn about LittleBits
Watch up to 3:50.
2. Do Your Challenge: Complete Breezy Buddy, Fan of Fortune, Spin Mate and Art Spinner.
3. Create a Challenge: Create a challenge your level using LittleBits that could be used in a makerspace. You could look at some of the other projects in the manual and come up with ways to remix them. Think beyond just creating the circuits to creating a project built on the circuit. You can check out the manual for ideas.
4. Create a curricular tie-in: With your partner, develop a idea to suggest to teachers for using LittleBits tied to classroom curriculum. Include an objective, at least one relevant standard that could be included, a description of an activity, and considerations on it implementation (e.g., equipment needs, student skills, grouping, timeframe).
