For this project, you will use the information from your travel brochure to create a PowerPoint that promotes your chosen travel destination. While assembling your project, keep in mind that your audience is ME (the teacher!) so choose pictures and language that is/are appropriate. Do not cut and paste your information, you need to rewrite the information so that it is easy to read in a presentation format. IF YOU CUT AND PASTE YOU WILL RECEIVE AN AUTOMATIC “F.”
Slide 1: Title Slide-Travel destination with picture of your destination, along with your name in smaller font.
Slide 2: Basics: Map, population, continent where the place is located, currency (money) used, language(s) spoken and best time of year to visit.
Slide 3: History: 3-5 historical facts.
Slide 4: Recreation: Photos of things to do at your chosen destination. Include 3-5 things to do along with the price of the activity.
Slide 5: Travel: List ways that people can travel around your destination.
Slide 6:Gallery: 4-8 photos of the destination. (Use custom animation on these pictures)
PowerPoints are designed to be presented. In order to receive maximum points for this assignment, you must present this assignment to the class. If you choose not to present, the highest grade you will be able to receive is a "C."
PowerPoint must include:
- At least 4 different backgrounds
- Bullet points
- Custom animation on at least four slides
- Slide transitions on all slides
- One sound
- Correct spelling and grammar (Names of places are always capitalized!)
