This life insurance contract, this service which we sell, makes provision for four great fundamental human needs. In reminding ourselves of these four services of life insurance, we would like to add a fifth. All five are intimately familiar, for every day we see life insurance at work:
➢ We see life insurance providing cash and continuing income, when death creates new expenses and terminates earning power.
➢ We see life insurance providing credit and cash in time of emergency, unemployment, or great opportunity.
➢ We see life insurance providing income to those in later years of life - those who are finished with the job, or with whom the job has finished.
➢ We see life insurance at work easing the financial burden of disability.
And everyday we see life insurance at work giving that benefit of which we speak the least and perhaps we should speak the most - life insurance silently at work, giving peace of mind to the man who has never had the occasion to call on his life insurance for its other benefits.
