March 23, 2013 Speech and Evaluation contest

On this beautiful Saturday morning, our club hosted an International speech and evaluation contest. Our chair Irene did a wonderful job on keeping the contest running very smoothly and successfully. We had two members attended the speech contest. Tom was the first speaker. His speech topic is “snake”. He shared with us a lot of knowledge about snake. Ernie was the second contester. He shared with us his passion and understanding about the inspiration of music. He also brought us some beautiful music during his speech. For the evaluation contest, we also had two contesters, Rai-Anne and Ernie. Both of the two contesters did great jobs on giving precise and valuable evaluation to the speaker’s inspiring story. In this meeting, we were glad to have so many experienced Toastmasters, including our area governor, attended the meeting.

Our next club meeting will be on Friday, April 12, 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm. Let’s look forward to another great evening.
