Jul 8, 2011 Meeting Synopsis

We transformed Leading Edge last Friday into a five-star restaurant, renaming it "The Club" and handing out menus instead of agendas. Thankfully, everyone had a reservation and the Maitre D'hotel was able to seat all diners. What a special treat we had. There were about a half-dozen chefs bringing in collations to share and a sommelier to pour us some Dom Perignon that tasted curiously of ginger-ale. I'm sure that's what fancy libations taste like.

We had another treat in that there were three speakers! Three! Zoey taught us the correct way to make Poisson Asiatique. Katherine opined on the finer points of vegetarianism. And Ernie regaled us with skunk stories.

Everyone filled his/her role/course deliciously.

I just can't wait until the next Friday Food Night!
