Tonight's theme was Kaizen: Starting from the Agenda. Our Chairman, Patrick, had a lot of fun with the agenda, adding a tear-off corner for the word of the day, tear off strips for comments for speakers, and even a cut-out envelope to mail the agenda to your friends. The speaker this evening was Ernie, speaking about Strategic Planning. Has your workplace ever gone through consultations to put in place a "strategic plan" and "company vision"? Ernie's speech highlighted how hilarious and ridiculous the process can be.

The Table Topics Master, Edwin, asked us to choose from a selection of pictures the he brought and make up an invention. This was a very interesting method to find out what was foremost on the minds of our members and guests: stolen bicycles, road rage, and the frustrations of not being able to find the bathroom light switch in the middle of the night.

The next meeting is August 25, Saturday, at 9:30 a.m. See you there!
