Chengyu Huo received his B.S. in Electronic Engineering and Ph.D in Signal and Information Processing from Nanjing University, P.R. China. He has been engaged in the detecting, processing, and analysis of biomedical signals since 2005.
In recent years, he has focused on heartbeat dynamical patterns of healthy human, the effect of disease and aging on heartbeat interval series, and sleep-wake staging based on wearable devices. He is also interested in developing medical electronic devices, algorithms for computer-based medical diagnosis, and industrial detection.
Dr. Huo is currently working at Boston University as a Visiting Researcher, and at Changshu Institute of Technology as Associate Professor.
