[ Curriculum Vitae ]
Dr. Xiyun Zhang is a physicist who works at the interface of computational physics, nonlinear dynamics, and physiology. He is appointed as a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Physics at Boston University.
Dr. Xiyun Zhang received his Ph.D. of Theoretical Physics from Prof. Zonghua Liu's group at East China Normal University in 2016. In his doctoral thesis, Dr. Xiyun Zhang focused on synchronization of networked oscillators, especially explosive synchronization in complex networks.
Now his research focuses on the understanding of complex behaviors in various physical and physiological systems. He analyzes physiological data, models physiological system, identifies and quantifies the interactions among organs and aims to uncover the mechanism of integration of organ dynamics in the human body.
