This listing more accurately reflects the teams with the best average FBS (I-A) opponent rather than most difficult schedule, which I believe depends on context. The strength of schedule (SoS) below is used in the computations as part of my rating for a team's opponents, before the overall ratings are determined. These are the raw numbers before I include any additional adjustments for I-AA/FCS (or lower-division) opponents and may not correspond to a given team's rating as compared to performance. I do not recalculate strength of schedule after full computation of the ratings.

*Cincinnati and Northern Illinois have been given modified strengths of schedule in the formula (not below) in order to factor in properly.

**Old Dominion is not included among the rankings because a majority of its games have been against I-AA/FCS opponents, but their rating is included at the bottom.
