#5 Penelope and #6 Evelyn
Penelope is 4" long x 4" wide x 8" high. The statement on the bottom reads, "I once had a great hourglass figure. I somehow turned into a half hourglass figure and looks like a pear."
A number of years ago I did a piece of art titled, Remember Being Impressed. In the galleries the would put a small statement by the piece of the artist's thoughts inre the piece. Mine simply stated, All I remember is that they had these great big boobs and those little tiny heads. Regardless of age, every male has experienced and been awed by a few 38DD-26-36 Penelopes in life. They wore those low cut/tight fitting angora sweaters that made you want to have breakfast and of course with fresh cantaloupes. They wore those skin-tight peddle pusher/Capri pants and lured you whether coming or going. Many, when out in public by themselves, would wear the dark sunglasses. Guess they wanted to see your reactions, but not let you have a clue what was on their mind. Most males were enamored by their bodies, and like me, thought they had tiny heads. Funny fact is that they in their own little way were a lot smarter than most of us. Most didn't waste a lot of time on formal education. They religiously studied everything about their patron saint, Perle Mesta. Most ended up marrying industrialist executives, company owners, doctors, lawyers and such. They were smart enough to use their God-given assets to make this a more entertaining and devilish thinking world. Here's to all of you Penelopes!!!!
Evelyn is 4" long x 4" wide x 5" high. The comment on the bottom says, "Will someone please, please tell the poor soul she needs a new pair of tights."
There were several Evelyns at Nifty After Fifty. Most had probably lost their spouses in a few recent years. They weren't there looking to replace their long time partner, but rather to kill time until it was their time to take that great dirt nap. Most drove the finer vehicles and you knew that they had beautiful homes and were financially secure to do whatever their heart may desire. Their only problem was that they no longer could do it with the one they wanted to share it with the most. Once they wore the best of fashions, the envied labels and the best eau de Cologne. Now they were content to be the tattered Apple Annie(s) of the world. On one hand, you wanted them to get their act together. However, on the other, you realized that their 50+ year relationships couldn't be recreated. They were content to have been fortunate to have dreamed and lived the lives we all hope for when younger. One thing I observed was that they all effortlessly did their workouts with a continuous smile. They really paid no attention to whatever others were saying or doing. Perhaps they were thinking about being reunited with their equal other.
In my next communication with you, I will introduce you to #7 Wanda Mae and #8 Beatrice. As always, would appreciate any of your comments, good or bad. One thing I have learned over the years, is that when struggling with a problem today, don't take to much time in creating a new wheel/solution, but go back to the past and look how it was resolved then.
