It is only a cellar Hidion is living in, but in the nights he opens up the cellar roof for studying the stars. He has a friend somewhere on Emer (author don't know where) who he will contact and communicate with every week (through a magical item) and therefore he knows quite a bit what is happening there. He is known in the city and people know that he is a spelluser and when someone wants help from such a man they often visit him instead of the mentalism school.
