DESCRIPTION:
This is the most important building in the city. The entrance is guarded by ten men (not from the guard) in blue and white uniforms. They carry a two-handed sword and under their uniform they wear chainshirts. The entrance is a stair to the first floor, where the halls of the courts are. The halls of the court are beautifully decorated halls in blue and gold. Every room is guarded by the same type of guards that are outside the building. The maincourt is located in the centre of the building. A huge doubledoor is leading in to the nice court, where the cities most feared men sits. The room is even more decorated than the others and it is guarded by eight of these blue and white uniformed men. There are some small offices for the attorneys (see 283) and the lawyers (see 22, 116, 249). The men of the court is often very strict and they are famous for their bad humour. They are always dressed in blue cloaks and in the court they wear pure white wigs. A wellguarded door below the stairs to the court leads to the council. They control the whole bottom floor in this huge building. Here the nine men (and women) of the most powerful families in the city are ruling it. They have full support from the prince (see 247) and he is not often interfering in their decisions. He is also often invited to the meetings here. All the councilmembers are dressed in a white uniform with their family symbol on the back. The nine men room is a room where they have their meetings, a large triangular room and a triangular table in the middle of it. Three chairs at each side of the table fulfil the undecorated room. The nine chairs are marked for each family and on one of the walls there is a big sign telling about all councilmembers that have been here. There are also two libraries in the building, one for the court and one for the council. In the library of the council they keep books about Lethys and all the work the council have been doing.
