Sardy Mahis was a worker, who was killed in an accident in his job when they were making the pier and the pier had no name in that moment and they decided (the council) to take his name. The ships at this pier travel to small islands on the coast and to the dyari-island. It is the smallest of the five piers and was the last built.(See the other piers 48, 60, 86 and 87) .
