one IMAM and famous Muhaddis of his time DAWOOD ZAHIRI

he was sleeping , the doors of his office was open

one fakir person dressed in torn Rags , he came and sat on the seat of Dawood Zahiri

and he woke him and said MAULVI sahaab uthoo wqaqt bada achha hai , jo poochna hai Pooch lo Aisa mauqaa phir nai AYEGA

get up time is good and ask what you want, this time will not come again

He got ANGRY and in a FIT of Rage and said yes DO you know anything of the profession of BARBERS (*1 )(HAJJAMAT)

he said yes and sat with respect

he recited all hadis of Hajamat

how did Prophet peace be upon him did at that time

then he stated the hadis Types of each what he said ,and each of them which is HASAN , Mursil

then he came to Sanad of Hadis who had listened to this Hadis and discussed on Asmaurrijaal

for each hadis he stated the entire sanad and their Life styles ,where they lived ,

and all details of Life of the Rawi for all sanads of All hadis he stated

then he came to Fiqhi Mazhab

and said all 4 imamas said what about this

he discussed what IMAM Abu hanifa stated about this

he discussed what IMAM shafi stated about this and all others

then he came to Types of instruments used for this

how were the tools of the time of Prophet peace be upon him

then he came to charges given at that time for Different tasks like trimming etc

then he came to Atibba (doctors) what are benefits and nuksaan(loss) of Hajaamat

what doctors from Different Languages said about this

he stated all what arabi doctors shave said , farsi , ibrani etc

then he came to history , where do we find proof of Hajamat

from ARAB to AJAM he discussed on all countries and proved that ones who invented HAJAMAT are from ISFAHAAN

and now he was still continuing ...

DAWOOD ZAHIRII says i was so shocked at this Surprise , he is such a great AALIM of HADIS and all aspects i was thinking him a fakir

he said MY FATHER [*2 ] . I Do TAUBA(repent ) and i apologise to you , henceforth i will not think anybody as less from me ..

[*1 ] in Asia referring to some one as a barber is done with intent to humiliate , to show how insignificant is that person or his knowledge in this case

[*2 ] A phrase in language , in other words saying you are great or master
