Embroidery
Embroidery is a versatile skill to use in the SCA. Not only can you embroider designs onto pieces of fabric for various purposes, you can also use decorative hand-embroidered stitches on your garments for finishing to give them that extra special touch.
Another use is embroidering appliques onto other fabrics. Class notes on applique techniques [PDF] from House Marsvin's website
These are just a few ideas to get you started.
We do have some folks who do embroidery in the Barony. Look for Lady Amina, or Baroness Lucilla. You can also look for Baroness Katherine at events nearby.
