Walk in their shoes, so to speak!
To pursue the interest area of costuming in the SCA, there is really only one requirement: an attempt at pre-17th century clothing.
There are many times and places from which to choose when creating costume clothing, or as it is also referred to as, garb. If you want to dig deeper into this stylish pursuit, there are as many areas to dig into as there were styles worn in the past. The replication of historic clothing to a high degree of historic accuracy is an area of passion held by many costumers.
