These days it is a viable option to contact and then communicate with companies via their social media presence. However, their social media teams are inept and displayed incompetence in even raising this issue with the aim of getting it resolved. Merely peddled the same contempt for their customer as their specific "care" team are.
Below are great examples of how they conduct themselves with total disdain. A very brief search vindicates this finding what many upon many other examples just like mine.
As a result of posting on their facebook page the discussion then moved up to a direct emails system and that thread can be found via this site's Emails page. There is also another avenue that I attempted and that was a letter to the CEO of HTC, that can be read on the Letters page.
My first concerned attempt at resolving this through another avenue at HTC UK.
Again tried to make them aware of their failings.
