Music is at the heart of our worship services. As a welcoming and diverse community of faith, our worship includes a variety of musical styles. Our facilities are shared with various community groups for concerts and recitals. All ages of musicians have been welcomed to share their time and talents with the congregation.
The Chancel Choir sings in our worship services from September through May. Directed by the church's choir director and organist, the Chancel Choir has included high school students as well as older adults. They rehearse on Wednesdays at 6:00, and Sunday mornings at 9:00, between Labor Day and Memorial Day.
The experience of singing in the choir has created connections among its members and has deepened their faith and commitment to FCC.
Angel Choir for children in grades 2 through 8. The Angel Choir rehearses Wednesday evenings at 6:00. The choir performs a number of times from September through May. Typically they perform for the Christmas Pageant, during Lent, and also on Mother's Day.
Angel Choir gives the children of the church opportunity to use their musical talents during worship. Practicing weekly gives choir members opportunities to develop friendships in their church community while experiencing the joy of singing.
