Women's Fellowship

Women’s Fellowship is almost as old as our church, however it has had several different names, such as the Young Women’s Society. Our mission is to help the church with large functions as well as monetarily. We also distribute money to the local and world communities. This money was gifted to us by Adeline Choate, a member of our church in the 1900s, to be used for benevolence purposes. Women’s Fellowship has been lucky enough to grow the principal and yet distribute the interest every year.

Women’s Fellowship members include all adult women of the church (we do not exclude men who wish to help); however only board members may vote on issues that come before this committee. The group usually meets once a month during the day. The date is flexible to accommodate everyone’s schedule. Anyone is welcome to attend the meetings, which are listed on the church calendar.

If you are interested in offering suggestions of organizations to donate money to, please attend one of our meetings. We would love to have you help with First Tuesdays, funerals, large gatherings and fundraisers at church. Please contact Karen LaBorde with any questions.
