The region of Schwabia is divided into 2 warring camps and a host of smaller entities trying to survive.
The largest state is Harzburg, whose main ambition is to dominate all of Schwabia and recover lands that broke away from it’s control during the civil war that shattered Schwabia.
Location: Schwabia is bounded by Frankszonia (Northwest), Wittenberg (Northeast), Bavaria (Southeast), and Uber-Gruntshuffen (Southwest).

Harzburg
The Schwabian League formed in the 13th century under the leadership of Flatsburg to oppose Harzburgs bid to seize the title Elector of Schwabia when the ruling house died out. The League is composed of the Prinzapality of Flatsburg, Prinzapality of Greifdorf, Graf of Mühlehaus, and Feeiherr of Adlerzwillinge. There are over 30 small states striving to keep their independence and neutrality in the ongoing war between the League and Harzburg, while covertly supporting the League

The Schwabian League
The Schwabian League is an old alliance of 4 small states with numerous smaller states contributing aid in return for protection. The league was formed to separate the members from the clutches of the Duchy of Harzburg during the great Schwabian civil war. Harzburg has refused to accept the Leagues independence and periodically attempts to adsorb the member states by force. Under the leadership of the princes of Flatsburg the League has maintained their freedom.

Prinzapality of Flatsburg - Furstin Maria Athena von Flatsburg, last legal heir of Flatsburg has with the aid of her uncle ,General Leopold Tiberius Flatsburg , conducted the day to day governance and diplomatic duties of Flatsburg and the League since 7 December. The Furstin is 18 years of age and unmarried. All of Flatasburg stand ready to defend their relm and their Furstin. Flatsburg is noted for the quality of it’s troops, cheese, and horseflesh. Flatsburg is the prime recruiting ground for Leagues cavalry mounts.
Prinzapality of Greifdorf - Greifdorf is famed for the skill of their smiths and armories. Greifdorf provides the firearms and artillery for the League. Prinz Ludwig von Greifdorf is noted for his artillery skill in conducting either siege, attack, or defense. The Leagues armaments are produced here.
Graf of Mühlehaus - Mühlehaus is a farming region that was devastated during the 30 years war. So many males had died that a Swedish regiment’s aid was needed to secure victory. Graf Ferdinand’s granddaughter Allyson captured the young Swedish commanders heart during the final battle. Allyson commanded the Mühlehaus artillery and crippled the final infantry assault. Following their marriage Graf Ferdinand proclaimed that the couple would jointly be his heir. So many widows and unmarried women followed Allyson’s lead and found Swedish husbands that few of the Swedish regiment returned home. The region now has many Swedish names in use. Graf Gustav von Mühlehaus is the proud descendant of Stefan and Allyson. Mühlehaus is known for their grain mills and the courage of their troops.
Feeiherr of Adlerzwillinge - Feeiherr Albrecht von Adlerzwillinge has reigned for 20 years. His sons Karl, Ferdinand, and Erwin follow in his footsteps as financial and organizational leaders. Adlerzwillinge supplies some of the best managers, merchants and supply officers in the League.
