Membership

Our membership year runs from 1st March to the 28th/29th February each year.

Emersons Green Running Club offers two types of membership, UNAFFILIATED and AFFILIATED (to England Athletics).

UNAFFILIATED Members can participate in all club training sessions and club events and take part in races with an ARC permit without paying an unattached levy.

AFFILIATED Members receive the same benefits as non-affiliated members as well as a discount when entering UKA permit races (where appropriate). Within the cost of membership, the Club pays a fee to England Athletics to cover race insurance.

We appreciate that not everyone will want a membership and some will prefer to pay-as-they-go to gauge if being part of the Club works for them. In this case, runners who wish to join us but do not wish to commit to a membership can pay just £1 each time they attend a Club run.
