*** UPDATE 28/08/2015 ***
Entries for the Severn Bridge Half Marathon closed this week and EGRC was awarded one free place. At EGRC club night on 27th August, a name from list of race entrants was chosen at random and the lucky club member is.... Brad Robbins. Brad will receive a full refund of the race entry fee over the next few days. Congratulations Brad - have a great race.

Do you like the sound of a half marathon with stunning views, sea air, scenic country lanes and villages, the opportunity to participate in a unique running event on a closed motorway and across the iconic Severn Bridge, and a chance of free entry??
The organiser of the Severn Bridge Half Marathon 2015 is offering EGRC one free place for each ten places that our club members purchase. We have 16 entries so far and the entry fee of £27 will be refunded for each free place that we are awarded by way of a ‘lucky dip’ draw shortly before the race takes place on 30th August.
This offer is open to Affiliated and non-Affiliated club members so why not run your first half, go for a PB (there is excellent PB potential on this course), or just go out there and enjoy yourself – you might be one of the lucky winners of a free place.
To register, and for more details about the race, go to the FullOnSport web page: https://www.fullonsport.com/event/5834/profile
Don’t forget to record your club name when you enter: ‘Emersons Green Running Club’.
