5k Thursday

How do you judge whether you are improving your fitness, getting faster etc? For those that don't enter races, it can be hard to tell. That's why we are introducing "5k Thursday" at regular intervals. On a 5k Thursday, a Committee Member will lead and time a 5k run over the Pomphrey Hill 5k route. 5k Thursday will be an alternative option the normal Club Run. Even if you don't want to take part in 5k Thursday each time we run it (no pun intended!), it can be useful to take part once in a while to gauge your improvement (or otherwise). Our first 5k Thursday will be on Thursday 27th June 2013. NB: This is not a race although it will be staged under race conditions.
