Away Run: Thursday 28th August

Thursday 28th August: Away Run. Instead of the normal run from Pomphrey Hill Pavilion, we are having an Away Run. The timings are the same as a normal Thursday (meet 6.45pm for 7.00pm run - don't be late or you won't know where to go) but we are meeting at Wick Village Hall (BS30 5QH) adjacent to the Rose and Crown pub. There is parking in the Village Hall car park and on the roadside nearby. There are two run routes, 6.0 miles and 4.5 miles; both routes are the same for the first two miles. Both routes are exceptionally pretty and take in some fantastic local countryside. Both routes are multi-terrain but are not expected to be muddy. Maps and written directions will be provided for both routes and we all end up back where we started (hopefully). Post-run, we'll head for the Rose and Crown for refreshments.
