Team Emersons Take Relay Prize

In our first ever staged race, The Horseshoe Relay on Tuesday 4th June 2013, three Emersons Green Running Club Members formed the winning team. The team of Amanda Mitchell, Adrian Grimshaw and Jon Doyle stormed home in a time for 40 minutes, 31 seconds and won themselves a pint and a packet of peanuts each. Close behind in second place were Michael Cobb (Emersons Green Running Club), Helen Tunnicliff (Portishead Running Club) and Marco Di Mauro (unaffiliated) in a time of 40 minutes, 50 seconds.
