Eugenia is a distinguished tango dancer and instructor, celebrated for her elegance and musicality. Beginning her Argentine Tango journey with local teachers, she was inspired by eminent dancers like Mora Godoy and Osvaldo Zotto, Alicia Ponz, Javier and Geraldine, Carlito and Noelia, and more. She has been integral to Tango Zen, globally recognized workshops have been a part of dance meditation offerings at notable centers like the Omega Institute and Kripalu Meditation Center.
Eugenia emphasizes connection, musicality, and personal interpretation of music in her dance and classes. She believes in crafting a personal dance, once basic movements are learned, and that the tango's beauty emerges from interpreting tango music, whether it is tango, vals, or milonga. Eugenia’s goal is to teach dancers to move in unison, creating a unique tango experience of each dance, with every partner.
Eugenia is presently offering group FREE tango lessons at the Silver Spring Aquatic Center. For private lessons, contact Eugenia @ 301-346-5079.
