U.S. Senate & Embassy of Uruguay
October 2024: The Embassy of Uruguay invited Luis to join them at the Congressional Hispanic Staff Association (CHSA) event in the U.S. Senate at the Capitol, where he performed.
November 2024: Following his performance at the Senate, CHSA expressed interest in learning tango, leading him to teach a class for the Congressional Staff at the Embassy of Uruguay, continuing his collaboration with them. Some members of the tango community were also present to support and assist in the class as Ihenormally does.

Person of the Year 2024 – Awarded on December 27th by Latinos: The Country We Built for Luis Angel's contributions to the culture and promotion of Argentine tango in the U.S. and worldwide.
